DESCRIPTION: The Agenda 21 Forum promotes the outcomes of the 1992 UNCED and NGO Global Forum particularly: ecologically sustainable development, awareness, understanding and action, implementation of Agenda 21 at all levels of society, closer liaison between local community groups, greater cooperation and understanding between NGOs, government and other sectors, focus on key issues such as population, biodiversity, trade and environment
